DESERT DWELLERS are one of the foremost influences in a genre that they basically expanded from the ground up to be where it’s at today. With a blend of a variety of sources that have been composed to form a heavily weaved set of sounds that coincide in perfect harmony together Desert Dwellers has established themselves in not only their home area of Southern California and New Mexico but across the globe.
Taking a new approach on digital production, the main members Amani Friend & Treavor Moontribe have combined the raw sounds of the natural world with skillfully blended deep bass, earthy percussion, etheric voices and culture crossing instrumentation into sonic incense for the mind and body. With this blend of dance tracks and down tempo sounds they have enabled themselves to give a heightened sense of being to listeners through their musical medium.
Bringing the electronic bass music vibe to the yoga scene, and the sounds of yoga to the electronic dance scene, Desert Dwellers’ global sounds are the bridge between worlds. Joining solid groove with sounds of serenity, their signature aesthetic feels as natural on the dance floor as it does after hours or on the mat. Due in no small part to Desert Dwellers’ pioneering spirit, the very concept of chill-out and sacred bass music has expanded dramatically. These sound alchemists offer cutting edge techniques that blend the modern edge of electronica with ancient and organic sounds, offering a spellbinding hybrid with echoes of our tribal past and future. The result has been the prolific production of genre blending dance tracks and downtempo grooves that make for truly memorable listening experiences.
NEUROGENESIS is a wave of collective Bassorcery that starts with a capital Be. This force often manifests as James Boswell, an up-and-being DJ/Producer/Quantum-Mechanic. Always encouraging mutually supportive collaborations, Neurogenesis sets have included live spoken-word, instrumentation, and a healthy dose of fun into the performance.
We agree with Aleksander Vinter (Savant) that Genre's are dead. With that in mind, Neurogenesis is familiar with a wide range of music from Classical to EDM to World Music and enjoys combining obscure genres.
In a club-style DJ-only configuration, James most enjoys playing EDM that gets the crowd sweaty and smiling. Bass-music, Top-40 Remixes, House, Electro, Dubstep, Trap, Hip-Hop are some favorites.

ADEM JOEL/PRIMAL: Syncro-Mystic elements are what define Adem Joel’s fiery sound. With a passion for channeling step down transmissions from the cosmic center to heart and root alike, this beat guru captivates and transcends the mind and and electrifies the body of his fans through an enchanting mix of organic, bass heavy frequencies.
Adem Joel has performed on sound systems and been billed to play events with the likes of kalya scintilla, Chris B, bassnectar, desert dwellers, Rennie Pilgrim, Zapper, VibeSquad, Eskmo, Kan’nal, Lunar Fire, and many more thumpers! 13 years of mixing, mashing and smashing beats and harmonic frequencies together and 1 year of music production under my belt. With a passion and intention that makes the mind and body feel elevated and metaphysically balanced with the earth tones and interstellar vibrations, I work to make my audiences feel what i feel. The music i play is rooted in tribal breakbeat and dub style bassline to glitchy mid-tempo breaks.
REVEREND MITTON: A prophet sent to Earth to spread a message of love through The Funk, Reverend Mitton has worked tirelessly to support the Underground House community of New Mexico since 1993. A 20 year vet of DJ booths in New Mexico and throughout the Southwest, The Rev uses his powers of musical taste and intuition to move booties on dancefloors. He also hosts the RevRadio mixshow, live every Tuesday at 8 PM MST HERE
