DESERT DWELLERS are one of the foremost influences in a genre that they basically expanded from the ground up to be where it’s at today. With a blend of a variety of sources that have been composed to form a heavily weaved set of sounds that coincide in perfect harmony together Desert Dwellers has established themselves in not only their home area of Southern California and New Mexico but across the globe.
Taking a new approach on digital production, the main members Amani Friend & Treavor Moontribe have combined the raw sounds of the natural world with skillfully blended deep bass, earthy percussion, etheric voices and culture crossing instrumentation into sonic incense for the mind and body. With this blend of dance tracks and down tempo sounds they have enabled themselves to give a heightened sense of being to listeners through their musical medium.
Bringing the electronic bass music vibe to the yoga scene, and the sounds of yoga to the electronic dance scene, Desert Dwellers’ global sounds are the bridge between worlds. Joining solid groove with sounds of serenity, their signature aesthetic feels as natural on the dance floor as it does after hours or on the mat. Due in no small part to Desert Dwellers’ pioneering spirit, the very concept of chill-out and sacred bass music has expanded dramatically. These sound alchemists offer cutting edge techniques that blend the modern edge of electronica with ancient and organic sounds, offering a spellbinding hybrid with echoes of our tribal past and future. AtYyA (pronounced [ Ah-Tie-Ah ]) is the fruition and birth of countless musical explorations. TREAVOR MOONTRIBE
Treavor Moontribe is one of the founders of the Los Angeles based “Moontribe Collective” and its legendary full moon desert gatherings. Since 1993, these events have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene. Treavor established himself as one of the top Djs in LA thru these events and has since traveled the world from Brazil to Japan to Morocco, Portugal, Germany and all over North America. As a Dj it’s always been his diversity that’s set him apart from his peers. His love for music spans multiple genres and his DJing reflects this as he is just as known for Techno/Progressive as he is Psy Trance and various other forms of electronic music.
In 2009 Treavor became the first American label DJ for Denmark based Iboga Records and released a compilation for them called Set9: Desert Selections. The compilation was an instant hit topping the psy trance chart on Beatport and the CD chart at PsyShop.com. In December 2011 Treavor joined the Neurobiotic Records family with his debut compilation called “Neuro:Minded” feat. Psy Trance songs from legendary artists like Dickster, Logica, The Commercial Hippies, Flip Flop, Polaris, and more. It was an instant success reaching #3 on the top Psy Trance songs chart at Beatport.com and #2 in the top releases chart.

AMANI
Amani of Desert Dwellers is a trailblazing music producer of electronica, dub, world fusion, and dance music having spent the past 25 years exploring the alchemy of these diverse genres. As a core creative driving force and founder of the Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom, and Variant Field projects, Amani tastefully weaves soundscapes that immerse the listener in a journey of otherworldly sonic dimensions. He has produced a prolific catalog of albums for numerous labels, remixed some of the biggest names in the electronic downtempo and yoga scenes, and played at some of the most prominent festivals around the world along with his main music partner Treavor Moontribe, including the Great Convergence at the Pyramids in Egypt, the Solar Eclipse in Australia, Boom festival in Portugal, and a 7 week tour with Simon Posford of Shpongle, to name a few key highlights. He returns to the states this summer having just spent time touring in Australia, New Zealand, Cost Rica, and Bali; and with new album releases from Desert Dwellers and Liquid Bloom.

ADEM JOEL
Because of Adem's mindful attention to research and detail of EDM, he set the tone for Nu-Skool and Tribal Breakbeat style music in New Mexico, back in the olden days of '99. At the age of 18 He landed his first residency at local after hours hot spot, The Dragons Empire in Albuquerque, NM, because of how well he held it down with the inner selekta. On a weekly basis Adem captivated his audiences with a coined sound of funky chunky mixing styles all the while building up a fierce reputation in the southwest EDM scene. In 2003, Family Moons Collective invited Adem to join their DJ Roster and it made such an impact on his career that he started to produce his own music.
Adem' live DJ sets are so powerful and journey inspiring that he has been graced with the opportunity to share his musical gifts at multiple music festivals in the U.S. such as Arise Festival in Colorado, Firefly Gatherings and The Gem and Jam Festival in Arizona, and Symbiosis Gatherings in Northern California.
